PHOTO SUBMISSION INFORMATION: Take Note designs beautifully captures your newborn by taking your digital picture and gently re-touching, blending, smoothing, and fading the edges until it blends elegantly into the vellum. Your photo and text are printed directly on the vellum using the highest quality color laser printers in the industry.
We require high mega pixel digital images only to ensure the very best results. Photo can be printed in color or black and white, we prefer to begin with a color image.
No digital pictures from a photo CD please. We need the original photo straight from your camera.
The size of the image should be no lower than: 1280x960 pixels. We prefer a photo with: 2048x1536 pixels, if you supply us with a sharp focused, close up photo taken from your high mega pixel camera set to the highest setting and the pixel size is the latter mentioned pixels, we can with no doubt create a beautiful and elegant photo vellum birth announcement. Changing the resolution of your photo in the computer to create a higher resolution image would only result in a poor image quality end result. Do not re-touch or crop the photo, or re-save to a smaller or larger file size. Please ensure your digital camera is set to the very highest setting. Please make sure the image is not cutting of the head or hands, and if the baby is not dressed, make sure all of the body is contained in the photo. Having half the foot out of the frame when there is no clothing is very difficult to work with. Make sure you are as close to the baby as you would like the final image to be. Make sure the photo is sharp focused. Avoid dark clothing. Awake or asleep is up to you. Siblings are fine; just ensure the focus remains on the baby.
